Our Verdict

Nitecore's NB10000 Gen 2 Power Bank is the "world lightest" 10,000mAh power bank, and this is down to its Carbon fibre construction, which makes the power bank light and strong. It is incredibly light and capable of charging my phone twice, so I can go around four days "off-grid" if I am using it sparingly. I primarily use my phone navigation, an audiobook at camp and the occasional photo. You may use your phone more or less, so that should be considered.

I like the yellow decal around the USB-A and USB-C ports; this makes finding the charging ports easy in the dark. The battery charge indicator is straightforward to understand and indicates how much power you have and if the power bank is charging.

I've used a lot of power banks, and I've never used one that says it's safe to charge the bank whilst simultaneously charging a device such as a phone or smartwatch. This saves time, and it's a welcome feature.
