Our Verdict
The updated Nitecore NB Air is a 5,000mAh power bank with an impressively low weight of 90g and a slim, carbon fibre shell that holds up well in wet or rugged conditions. It would be good for trips where you only need to charge a phone or headlamp once or twice between resupply points. The single USB-C port supports 18W input and output with PD and QC compatibility, and the touch-sensitive power button gives you a quick read on battery level. It charges quickly, both in and out, but doesn’t support pass-through charging, and there’s no cable included, so you’ll need to bring your own. The IPX7 rating and rounded corners are nice touches for real-world use, especially when packing space is tight.
