A great camp kitchen set for solo and small group cooks. With two pans, some very versatile lids, a pot kozy and storage bag this kit is a great way to cook real food on any backpacking adventure.

SOTO’s new ultra-hard anodized aluminum cook set excels in shock resistance, wearability and corrosiveness compared to conventional sulfuric anodized pot. The wide rim narrow pot provides enough room for cooking large amounts of food and makes clean up easy. The wide base minimises heat loss thereby reducing gas consumption. Stack and stow all in one.
Our Verdict
SOTO's Navigator Cook Set is a great combination for any solo to small groups heading into the hills who prefer to cook rather than simply boil water for freeze dried meals. The two pots are both over 1L capacity so you can do a decent amount of cooking in them. They have an anodized coating for durability and a slightly rougher, non-slip base which works well, especially on smaller stoves.
The set comes with a pot kozy and thermal disc which fits the smaller pot. It's useful and once you give your cooking some consideration in terms of which pot to use and when the kozy becomes a more useful item. The lids are well designed to provide a versatile piece of kit on their own with strainer holes, a small handle, and some marks on the under side that create a stable fuel canister (for either size canister). Although the stabiliser isn't as solid as the folding, stand alone versions it does work and the lid has already made a flat surface. Overall, the Navigator Set is a versatile option for lightweight, backpacking cooks.
