Our Verdict
The Tyvek Sleeping Bag Cover is a simple solution for protecting your bag from damp ground and condensation, especially in single-skin shelters where moisture build-up can be a problem. The material lets moisture escape, reducing condensation inside the cover. It is not fully waterproof and works best as part of a shelter system, not on its own.
At 147g, it packs small and is easy to carry as an extra layer. The fit is simple and designed to fit most standard mummy and rectangular sleeping bags with room to spare. It may also fit some extra-large bags, but users with oversized gear should check sizing before purchase. The Tyvek fabric has a slightly crinkled feel but softens with use and holds up well with careful handling.
