This is a great winter jacket, warm, comfortable, with a great fit and some some well-engineered features.

Our Verdict
Despite its bulk, this is a well-fitting jacket that does not bunch up or constrict when active. The inner nylon fabric feels fantastic against the skin, making this an incredibly comfortable jacket. The active fit means the jacket only descends to the belt line.
.The hem drawcord can be tightened to keep drafts out. The hem adjustment cords are neatly stowed in the jacket's pockets, preventing them from becoming tangled or snagged.
The cuffs of the garment are partially elasticated and can be adjusted with Velcro, allowing for a snug fit that is easy to adjust. The elasticated cuffs also provide additional comfort and prevent the garment from riding up.
The hood is fully adjustable, but the cord around it cannot be adjusted when closed. You have to unzip the top of the coat to access the adjustment points. This is an oversight in my opinion.
The jacket features four pockets: two external zippered pockets for warming your hands and two internal pockets great for storing gloves, a hat, or a map.
