Our Verdict
GSI Outdoors' Mini Espresso Set 4 Cup is a very simple design with just four parts to it. the three sections of the stove-top maker and the double walled cup. The simplicity of the design and the durable, stainless steel materials mean that you can pack this with confidence, get loads of use out of it and importantly, get your favourite coffee when you need it.
The espresso makes is simply placed directly onto your camping stove and as the heat and pressure build it pushes the coffee up the spout into your cup. With the 4 cup version, the design is much larger, taking around 295ml of water, it is made for several shots of espresso but you do only get one large double walled coffee cup. It would still be quick and easy enough to top up for a second round or share with a companion. The neat presentation/travel case is nice but it is that well built you can just pack it with the rest of your kit to save a little more space and weight if needed.
