Extremities' Merino Touch Liner Gloves are a lightweight pair of gloves made from Merino wool which is renowned for its comfort levels and good warmth to weight ratio. These gloves are ideal to be used as a baselayer pair in a warm winter glove system. They are also compatible with touch screen devices. There are special fibres woven into the thumb fore finger and middle finger-tips which allow full use of smart phones and other touch screen devices while out on the trail.

Perfect as a baselayer/liner glove these gloves are lightweight and very packable. They also are close-fitting and allow good movement and dexterity. The most innovative feature of these 'Touch' gloves is the touchscreen compatible fingertips. With special fibres woven into the tips of the thumb, fore & middle finger you are able to continue using a smartphone or touchscreen device whilst keeping your hands warm.
An essential piece of kit made from a quality merino wool fabric which can be stashed in a pocket for little weight penalty.
Our Verdict
The Extremities Merino Touch Liner gloves are gossamer-like, providing a really flexible extra layer that you can keep on while you use your touch screen devices. The touch pads are fitted to index finger, next finger, and also the thumb.
The touch screen finger tips need a firm and deliberate touch which isn't ideal and it quite often requires a few attempts to get the desired result on your device. If touch screen compatibility is your main requirement you might want to look elsewhere.
