Our Verdict
At 195g (Medium), the Mammut Selun FL Sun Hoody gives proper sun coverage in a light, simple layer. The UPF 50+ recycled polyester fabric is the main draw, but the hood, high collar, and thumb loops are what make it work well in practice, covering the neck, ears, and backs of the hands without extra faff.
I like the regular fit, which gives enough room for airflow and movement without feeling baggy under a pack. The fabric is quick-drying and treated to help with odour.
