Our Verdict
The LiTech Frying Pan 21cm strikes a good balance between proper camp cooking and packability. The hard-anodised aluminium spreads heat more evenly than many ultralight pans, which makes frying far less frustrating on smaller backpacking stoves. I also like the ceramic non-stick coating, which keeps cleaning simple and works well for foods that would normally stick quickly in thinner titanium cookware.
At 269g, it is still a luxury compared with a simple mug-and-spoon setup, but the folding handle and shallow-packed shape make it easier to justify than heavier campsite pans. The coating will need sensible care over time, particularly around metal utensils and rough packing. Best suited to backpackers, bikepackers and campers who actually enjoy cooking in camp rather than just boiling water.
