Our Verdict
The LiteBowl is one of those simple ideas that makes the most sense once you see how it packs. Rather than sitting inside your cooking pot, it nests around the outside of most 95mm pots, notably TOAKS models, leaving the space inside free for a stove, gas canister or other kit. The supplied elastic keeps everything together, while multiple bowls can also be stacked.
At just 13g, I think it is particularly appealing if you normally avoid carrying a separate bowl purely because of the extra weight and bulk. The polypropylene construction keeps the weight extremely low, while still being suitable for hot food and liquids up to 100°C.
The compromise is obvious: with walls only 0.5mm thick, it feels much less substantial than a conventional camping bowl, so I would only carry it nested around a pot rather than loose in a pack.
