Our Verdict
The VAGA Lightweight Neck Gaiter feels more protective than the name suggests. At 44g, it is still easy to pack, but the polyamide-elastane fabric has enough substance to block a bit of wind and retain warmth around the neck.
I like it most for changeable conditions, where a standard thin neck tube can feel a little too minimal. The stretch makes it easy to pull up over the face, use as a sweat barrier, or tuck down when working hard.
