Our Verdict
The Stance Light Wool Crew Socks combine lightweight comfort with robust durability. The blend of merino wool and nylon feels just right—warm without being stifling and breathable enough to keep your feet cool during those more challenging ascents. The lightweight terry cushioning provides ample protection without adding bulk, making these socks perfect for short jaunts and multi-day treks. Even after hours on the trail, the FreshTek™ treatment truly does the job, keeping any unpleasant odours at bay and ensuring that your feet stay dry and comfortable.
Durability is another strong suit here. Thanks to the Infiknit™ technology reinforcing the heel and toe, these socks have held up impressively well, even after several challenging hikes. The performance arch support is a nice touch, reducing fatigue, especially on longer walks.
The elastic band strikes a good balance in terms of fit, staying put without feeling restrictive. The reflective logo might be a small detail, but it adds an extra layer of safety for those early morning or late evening excursions.
