Ortlieb's Light-Pack 25Ltr is a tough, versatile and fully waterproof day pack. A few useful features don't prevent the bags packability which would be really useful on long trips.

Our Verdict
Ortlieb's Light-Pack 25Ltr is an extremely light-weight and packable waterproof rucksack. Despite the low weight the pack has some usual features. The roll top enclosure ensures the contents will stay dry.
The two mesh side pockets are too small for a typical 1 litre water bottle for example but thin water bottles and other items would fit nicely. The draw cord compression straps allow items such as spare clothes to be stored outside the pack. There is a single daisy chain.
There is no back support which keeps the pack light and can be folded into a stuff sack slightly larger than a drinks can. So the bag could easily fit into a larger bag to be carried into a base camp or when flying and used for day excursions. This is a versatile and tough feeling rucksack.
