Our Verdict
At 237g, it’s not ultralight, but it feels durable and well thought out. The padding is enough for peace of mind when navigating terminals or chucking your pack under a hostel bunk, and the microfibre liner stops your screen getting scuffed up. The external mesh pocket is handy for cords and adapters, and a slimmer document sleeve fits a boarding pass or two.
The removable shoulder strap makes it easy to pull out and carry separately. I wouldn’t use it as a standalone protective case for rough travel, but it works well if it is tucked into a pack or carried around town.
