Our Verdict
Trekmates' Kurber Beanie is a highly technical hat that provides a huge amount of protection from the elements. The top quality Gore-Tex Infinium lining brings a full windproof layer of protection and also gives a serious level of water resistance too. The Infinium is breathable but if you are heating up just remember it's not like a simple, unlined fleece hat.
The shaped cut provides coverage for your ears while flat seams increase comfort. It does have a snug fit which, due to the Gore lining means than there isn't a huge amount of stretch in it. However, the two sizes it comes in offer the majority of heads a decent fit.
