At just 212g for a medium, it combines full waterproofing and breathability with a stretchy, soft face fabric, giving it a more comfortable feel than most hardshells. I found the stretch fabric particularly useful when scrambling or running—it moves with you like a base layer but with the protection of a proper mountain shell.
Some standout details include the adjustable hood with a wired peak, which offers excellent coverage without impacting visibility, and the extended cuffs with thumb slots, keeping your hands covered and sleeves in place.
