Our Verdict
At 116g, it’s light yet robust, using Dyneema fabric, foam and Thinsulate insulation to keep bottles from freezing. It fits a standard 1 L wide-mouth Nalgene bottle securely and attaches neatly to a hip belt with a Velcro strap, keeping water accessible without removing your pack. The grab handle works well with gloves, and the materials effectively withstand snow and abrasion.
It’s bulkier than a simple sleeve, but for winter or alpine use, it’s an excellent, durable solution for keeping water liquid in sub-zero conditions.
