Our Verdict
At 181g, the Mont Adventure Equipment Hypermid DAC Alloy Pole is a straightforward alternative to using trekking poles to pitch the awkwardly sized Hypermid tent, so you no longer need to strap two together to reach the required length.
The 34cm folded length makes it particularly easy to carry on a bike or inside a pack.
It offers no height adjustment, but for bikepacking or anyone who does not already carry suitable trekking poles, I like the simplicity and compact packed size.
