Our Verdict
At 961g, the Osprey Hikelite 32 is a straightforward pack for hill walks and longer days when you need extra layers, food or wet-weather kit. The AirSpeed back system is the main strength, holding the pack away from your back to improve ventilation.
The top-loading main compartment gives simple access to the main storage area, while the front shove-it pocket is handy for stashing a layer without opening the pack. Side bottle pockets, hydration compatibility, and an included rain cover keep the layout practical for UK day walks. The padded hipbelt adds support, with one zipped pocket and one stretch drop-in pocket for small items on the move.
The adjustable 41–53cm torso fit helps dial in the carry, and it works best for walkers wanting breathable comfort with room for a fuller day kit.
