Our Verdict
Mountain Equipment's Groundup Tube should be a constant accessory for any outdoor activity. Crafted from a lightweight and moisture-wicking fabric blend, this neckwear is not just a fashion statement but a functional piece of gear. The fabric is impressively technical, utilising recycled polyester for effective moisture management and quick-drying performance. The addition of Tencel cellulose fibres further enhances the wicking capabilities. With built-in Polygiene StayFresh anti-microbial treatment, this headwear should resist odours better than average so that you can wear it for extended periods in the mountains.
At only 41 grams, it is exceptionally light, making it easy to throw in your pack. The stretchy, conforming fit allows it to be worn as a headband, balaclava, neck gaiter, or helmet liner, depending on the conditions.
