Our Ground Control Pegs are the perfect replacement pegs for your tent, tarp or shelter. Made from anodized 6061-T6 alloy, they offer great strength for their weight. The three-sided design is extremely strong, and offers great holding power in soft or hard ground. In harder ground, where you might not be able to push the peg in to full depth, you can utilize the multi-height guy points to minimize leverage on the peg. Each peg also comes with reflective cord and a luminescent pull tab to help you extract the peg when you break camp. Includes an Ultra-Sil peg bag.
Our Verdict
The Ground Control Pegs are not the lightest or smallest pegs around but they offer great strength for their weight. They have a strong three sided design with notches to position the guy ropes closest to the ground.
A great feature is the reflective cord and glow in the dark loops for better night visibility. This will definitely help if you find your self having to set up at night. Plus nobody likes tripping over them during a midnight stroll. Another bonus is that they comes with an ultralight storage bag for storing them when not in use.
