The Sunday Afternoons Garden Visor is a versatile and lightweight sun protection accessory. With a UPF 50+ rating and a generous 4¼" crescent brim, it offers excellent defence against harmful UV rays on the trail.
Weighing just 153g for the Medium/Large size, this visor won't weigh you down. Its breathable paper/polyester/cotton weave keeps you cool, while the grosgrain sweatband helps manage moisture. The adjustable sizing ensures a comfortable fit for most hikers.
One of the standout features for backpackers is its packability – simply roll it up and stow it in your pack when not in use. However, remember that it's unsuitable for wet conditions, so have a backup plan for rainy hikes.
It's not something I would take on any strenuous hike, but it's fantastic for low-level strolls. Of course, as the name suggests, it's ideal for wearing around the garden.
