Tiny pack size, proper cooking performance
Firemaple says:
Ultralight and ultra-compact, this solo cookset fits in your palm for minimalist performance. The set nests neatly to boil, fry, or reheat with ease, making it a solid choice for fast-packers and solo campers.
Our Verdict
The Frost MINI seems aimed at hikers who want something more practical than a titanium mug but don't want to carry a full cookset. The aluminium construction spreads heat well for its size, making simple meals and frying noticeably easier than with many ultralight titanium pots. I also like the little frypan lid, which adds flexibility without taking up extra room in the pack. You're not going to be knocking up a full English on it, but it's good for quickly re-heating.
At 188g, the whole set stays impressively compact and will even nest a small gas canister inside. The bare aluminium finish does need a little more care when cleaning. Best suited to solo backpackers and fastpackers, keeping their cooking simple but not boil-only.
