The Sea to Summit Frontier UL Collapsible Kettle Cook Set is a clever three-piece setup that balances packability with proper functionality. The 1.1-litre kettle collapses down neatly thanks to its food-grade silicone walls, and the hard-anodised aluminium base spreads heat evenly without scorching. The offset dual handles are solid in the hand and make pouring easy, and the LidKeep clip is a small but smart detail to avoid misplacing the lid at camp.

The included mugs are light and flexible but reinforced with glass-reinforced nylon, giving them more structure and stability than most collapsible cups. They don’t crumple in the hand, even when full, making sipping or pouring more reliable. They’re also marked with volume indicators, which come in handy when measuring water for meals. The whole set nests together into a low-profile bundle that’s easy to stash even in a day pack.
