Storm’s Proofer Spray-On renews the water-repellent finish of technical fabrics while maintaining breathability and comfort. The fine spray allows accurate coverage on areas most exposed to abrasion, such as shoulders, hoods and cuffs. Regularly washing and reproofing technical clothing maintains breathability, prolongs fabric life, and reduces waste by keeping gear performing as intended for longer.
The PFC, PFAS and PFOA-free formula leaves no residue or stiffness and dries evenly with air curing or light heat. It delivers strong beading and good durability under regular use, especially when applied to clean, damp garments. I like to use this on high-wear areas like the hood and shoulders, as it provides extra protection without requiring reproofing an entire jacket. Instructions -
- We recommend making sure your jacket is clean before re-proofing to allow the proofer to do it's job. You can't proof dirt.
- Empty pockets, close any zippers & loosen any drawstrings.
- Spray evenly and liberally from a distance of 15cm, paying close attention to hoods, cuffs and seams.
- Take a clean cloth, dampened with proofer and rub over the garment to ensure an even finish.
- Storm spray on apparel proofer in an air cure technology. Hang your garment and allow to fully dry before your next adventure.
