Exped Fold Drybags UL use the lightest fabrics to produce one of the lightest drybags available, with a roll top closure and fully taped seams. With an improved design providing you with more usable space these bags just got better.
Exped says:
Ultralight (= UL), waterproof drybags with roll-top closure made of 15 D ripstop nylon with silicone coating on the outside and PU coating on the inside. Perfect for usage when every gram counts. Fully taped seams and with a lightweight version of the closure and buckle. The translucent fabric allows you to recognize the contents. No base grab handle.
Our Verdict
Exped's Fold Drybag UL are the lightest within the Exped range. They are are still waterproof with taped seams and the roll top closure making them exceptional, high performing storage options. The only thing that's missing compared to the heavier drybags is a grab handle. Obviously, they are not as durable as those made from heavier material but the weight saving is significant if you are particularly weight conscious.
The weight of the UL Drybags are about half that of the standard Drybags yet there is little difference in performance.
