Our Verdict
Sierra Design's Flex Capacitor Rain Cover is lightweight to carry and compact when not in use. The covers have a nice simple logo on the front and come in a subtle dark colour. They're designed to fit the three sizes in the Flex Capacitor range, attaching easily to the pack when conditions deteriorate.
Some rucksacks come with their own waterproof rain covers, but for those that don't, it's best to purchase one separately to ensure the contents of your pack stay dry. Obviously they are not always needed if you are traveling through hot and dry climates but for those who regularly trek in wet conditions, like the UK, your pack slowly starts to absorb rainwater, making it feel heavier whilst potentially damaging your kit inside.
