Stable fast-hiking carry with standout back-panel comfort

The pack uses an update of the iconic Berghaus Limpet system and a new male specific vest style harness to deliver a very stable and comfortable carry for fast days on the move. In 15L of space, there are plenty of pockets for stashing your food and essentials, offering easy access at all times. And the pack is compatible with a hydration system, so you can keep refreshed while moving.
Our Verdict
The Fast Hike M15 feels more refined than many vest-style daypacks, particularly across the back panel. The air-permeable padding is among the best I have used, helping reduce moisture buildup without compromising stability. At 472g, it remains light while still feeling supportive on faster hill days.
The vest harness keeps the pack secure with very little bounce, and the front storage works well for snacks and quick-access essentials. I do think the large water-resistant outer section feels like a missed opportunity, though. Berghaus has included a small zipped pocket there, which only highlights how useful a full stash pocket would have been for wet gear or layers.
It works best for fast-paced hillwalking, scrambling and lightweight day use.
