Our Verdict
At 3051g, the Farden Roller 35 is heavier than some minimalist rollers, but the weight translates into a solid build. The polycarbonate chassis and padded front keep contents protected, even when the bag is only half full. I appreciate the well-planned layout: the quick-access laptop sleeve is genuinely practical, while the secondary compartments help keep smaller items in order. Compression straps, both inside and out, effectively stabilise the load.
The telescopic handle runs smoothly and feels reliable, and the recycled fabric outer holds up well to handling. The design does feel a little bulkier than some competitors, particularly at the corners; however, the overall impression is of a robust piece of luggage that will withstand repeated use, making it a dependable option if protection and structure are more important than shaving off a few grams.
