A robust, upcycled sit pad that lets you have a little bit of comfort anywhere on the trail.

The Facila UpSeat is an upcycling product. The seat pad is made from offcuts generated during the production of sleeping mats. The material scraps that would normally end up in the trash are recycled and turned into an alternative product. The great advantage of this manufacturing process is that by reusing existing materials, the use of raw materials is reduced. In the end, what makes the UpSeat special is firstly the recomposition of the materials (mix of XPE and IXPE) and secondly the random color scheme of each product. Each seat is unique in its color composition and therefore one of a kind. Whether it's a picnic break or a visit at the stadium – the Facila UpSeat cushions any seating surface, no matter how hard, and protects you from the uncomfortable cold.

Our Verdict
Sit pads are fantastic shoved in a side pocket or used to cushion your back for your backpack. Rapid to deploy, they add comfort anytime you stop on the trail. This one is surprisingly robust, much tougher and thicker than any I have used before, but this is also reflected in the weight. The UpSeat, however, is much cheaper.
