Our Verdict
The Big Agnes EZ Pack Stuff Sack opens along the side, giving you much more room to load a tent, poles and pegs before the two buckles pull everything together. I like this approach, particularly when packing away a wet tent in a hurry.
As a rough guide, I’d look at the Small for compact 1-person tents, Medium for most lightweight 2-person models and the Large for larger 2-3 person shelters. Exact fit will depend heavily on pole length and how bulky the tent fabric is, but the forgiving side-entry design gives you more room to work with than a conventional stuff sack.
