Our Verdict
What stands out most with this 35L pack was the backpack mode — the straps are genuinely comfortable, not an afterthought like on many convertible cases. The carry feels balanced and well-considered, with decent padding and an adjustable sternum strap that doesn't dig in. When rolling, the wheels glide well even on rougher city streets, and the handle feels sturdy with minimal wobble.
The internal layout is functional: a clamshell opening, compression straps, and enough structure to keep gear from slumping. I could fit five days’ worth of clothes and electronics with space leftover. It's not featherweight at 2466g, but that's expected for a hybrid design with this much durability.
The bag's recycled construction and bluesign-approved fabrics are a nice bonus, and I appreciated the reinforced corners after a few rough baggage handlers got hold of it.
For those who need the adaptability of wheels and straps in one compact bag, this is one of the better-designed options I've used.
