Waterproof protection without losing too much dexterity
Extremities says:
The Evolution Pro Glove delivers upgraded all-weather protection and comfort with Extremities X-Dry® waterproof technology. With a neoprene waterproof, windbreak back-hand, a soft lining, and a silicone grip palm, it’s built for high performance warmth, dexterity, and control in wet, cold conditions.
Our Verdict
The Extremities Evolution Pro Gloves weigh 105g (Medium) and combine X-Dry waterproof protection with a neoprene back and a soft lining for extra warmth in cold, wet conditions.
I like that the design still emphasises grip and control. The silicone palm helps when using poles or handling kit, while the close ribbed wrist keeps the glove sitting securely without adding much bulk.
The suede outer adds a bit more protection than a simple stretch fabric glove, and the neoprene back helps block wind as well as rain. For me, the appeal is the balance between warmth, waterproofing and enough dexterity to keep them on when you are actually doing things.
