Our Verdict
These, unusually for most running shorts, are tight - almost skin-tight - with a lot of stretch which facilitates a huge degree of freedom of movement.
3 pockets have been included; two no-bounce side pockets, which keep everything tight against your leg so your phone, energy gels, ChapStick, etc. won’t simply slip out of your pocket as soon as you set off running. A discreet pocket in the rear of the shorts is also welcome storage, more akin to traditional running shorts.
It took me a little while to get used to tight running shorts but honestly, these are now my go-to shorts for hill running.
