Our Verdict
Storm’s Eco Friendly Apparel Wash is a pH-neutral, scent-free cleaner that effectively removes dirt, oils and residue from waterproof and breathable clothing. The 75 ml portion is ideal for a single garment, ensuring thorough cleaning without overloading the drum. It refreshes fabric performance, restores breathability and provides the best base for follow-up proofing treatments.
Regularly washing and reproofing technical clothing maintains breathability, prolongs fabric life, and reduces waste by keeping gear performing as intended for longer. The formula is PFC-, PFAS-, and PFOA-free, and works equally well on synthetic and cotton-blend shells. Results are most consistent when garments are heat-dried according to care labels, which helps preserve durability and overall water repellency, an efficient, low-impact way to keep high-performance gear clean and functional.

Instructions -
- Add one garment into the washing machine. Avoid overfilling your drum, technical garments need to move freely to make the most of both mechanical and chemical cleaning.
- Pour 75ml of Storm wash into the detergent compartment & if re-proofing add 75ml of Storm Down Proofer into the conditioning compartment.
- Set your machine to a 30 degree synthetic low spin cycle or a technical sport garment setting if available.
- Follow garment care instructions for drying. Hang to drip dry for at least 20 minutes before tumble drying.
- Heat by tumble drying a low heat setting according to the care label, removing the garment perodically to agitate the baffels to spread the down evenly. Tip: add Storm Down Balls to maximize loft.
