Our Verdict
At 251g (Medium), I think the Deckhouse Shirt is all about comfort and fabric feel. The organic cotton jacquard weave gives it noticeably more texture and structure than a typical summer shirt, while the relaxed fit, side vents and box pleat help it stay comfortable in warm weather. I like the simple pocket layout and camp collar, which lean into the laid-back styling without feeling overdone.
The cotton fabric is not the fastest drying option for active hiking, but that is not really its purpose. I think it works best for campsites, travel and easy summer days where comfort matters more than technical performance.
