Our Verdict
This modular hammock system allows the user to add or remove sections of it (such as the mosquito net and the rain cover) as required, allowing it to be as light as possible by only taking what is needed depending on the season and location you're camping in. The full width poles at either end of this hammock make it incredibly spacious and comfy once inside.
The waterproof layer can be used under the hammock allowing it to be set-up as a bivi on wet ground, or it can be clipped onto the top of the hammock to be used as a tarp but please note that the waterproof layer doesn't offer the same protection as a full size tarp. DD Hammocks recommend using the DD Superlight Tarp when camping in high winds or when you just want more cover at camp.

General care
- Over time repeated fold lines can start to weaken the fine material of your DD SuperLight gear. To pack away, we always recommend 'stuffing' your DD SuperLight gear into its bag instead.
- To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently (change after 10 times)
- Store in a cool, dry, dark place
- Always ensure your gear (including any cordage) is completely dry before storing away
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40C and below -15C), and keep your gear at least a 2m distance from flames
- Do not machine wash. Clean carefully by hand only, using lukewarm water
- Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken (UV degradation is excluded from warranty)
