Our Verdict
At 550 g, the Daybreak 22 feels sturdy yet compact, thanks to its Dyneema Composite Hybrid fabric, which offers excellent water resistance and long-term durability. The redesigned shoulder straps curve naturally around the neck, enhancing comfort and improving weight distribution. The lightly padded back panel provides adequate support for moderate loads. Storage is well thought out for a 22 L pack, featuring dual front pockets, side mesh pockets for bottles, and an internal laptop sleeve that accommodates devices up to 17 inches.
Ventilation is limited, so it can feel warm in humid conditions. However, for its intended use, day hikes, travel, or mixed urban and mountain days, it performs exceptionally well.
