Our Verdict
The Hestra CZone Contact Pick-Up Gloves are an excellent versatile option for staying dexterous and dry during spring and fall. The stretchy polyamide outer fabric and a waterproof/breathable CZone membrane provide weather protection without excess bulk.
Key features include the reinforced silicone grip print on the palms for superior traction, a soft microfleece lining for warmth, and touchscreen-compatible fingertips. The gloves have an elasticated wrist for a secure fit.
While not super insulated for bitter cold, the CZone Contacts provide the perfect light-duty hand coverage for activities like hiking, biking, climbing and general outdoor use in mild conditions. They strike a nice balance between skill and weather protection.
Breathable enough to avoid swampy hand issues, the Contacts dry reasonably quickly when they do get damp. They're also quite durable and lightweight in construction.
