Our Verdict
At 165g (Medium), the Patagonia Cloud Crag T-Shirt uses the same smooth polyester jersey found across the Capilene Cool Daily range. It feels light against the skin, manages sweat well and dries quickly, making it comfortable for summer walking, running and humid conditions.
The stretch fabric and set-in sleeves allow easy movement, while the minimal seams reduce rubbing beneath a rucksack. The Cloud Crag graphic also makes it easier to wear away from the trail without losing the performance of a technical top.
Like most lightweight polyester shirts, it can develop odour after repeated sweaty use, despite the treatment. It also provides very little warmth, but for warm-weather hiking and high-output days, the quick drying time and smooth fit work well.
