Our Verdict
Lowe Alpine invented this design of Mountain Cap and it very quickly became a classic because the design is so good. The shell is Lowe Alpine's own Triplepoint fabric, which in its latest incarnation is a well respected, breathable and waterproof. Internally Lowe Alpine's Mountain Cap is lined with soft, thin Aleutian fleece for superb warmth and comfort.
Feature-wise the Cap is designed to fit snuggly over the ears and the wired peak keeps the rain off. A volume adjuster at the back can be used for fine sizing adjustment.
