The Choonie can be worn over barefoot or use as an additional layer on top of socks. Making it a perfect addition to quilts.
Comparing to the previous model, the number of seams was reduced (completely absent in the foot area). That means that socks are even warmer at the same weight.

Our Verdict
The Liteway Choonie Apex (+4°C rated) has become an essential part of my sleep kit. At just 85g for the Mediums, they pack as small as a thick pair of socks but deliver unparalleled comfort. The Climashield Apex insulation traps warmth well and dries quickly if things get damp.
The footbox has no seams, which helps cut down on cold spots, and the updated cut fits more naturally than older models. The 10D nylon outer feels a bit delicate, but that’s the trade-off for keeping weight down. The ankle drawcord is basic but works well enough to keep warmth in.
