Our Verdict
With 90 litres of capacity and weighing in just over 4 kg, the Cargo Hauler XT isn’t pretending to be minimalist—but for bulkier loads or gear-heavy travel, it makes life easier. The oversized wheels and reinforced base handle rough ground surprisingly well, and it stands upright reliably even when unevenly packed. I’ve loaded it well beyond airline limits without any protest from the structure or stitching.
The wide U-shaped opening gives full access to the main compartment, and the internal compression strap keeps things from shifting. I like that the backpack straps are there if needed, but they’re better suited for short carries. I like that in backpack mode, the main opening sits against your back, and it’s a simple but effective bit of passive security.
Materials feel properly durable: the water-resistant fabric doesn’t soak through in wet transfers, the top pocket’s handy for quick-access items. However, it’s fairly snug when the bag’s at capacity.
