Our Verdict
The Cargo 50 combines a 900D ripstop upper with a welded 1000D waterproof base, giving it a reassuringly rugged build for airports, vehicles and general gear hauling. The wide top opening makes packing straightforward, while the internal mesh pocket and external zipped pocket keep smaller essentials easy to reach.
I particularly like the removable shoulder straps. They let you carry the bag backpack-style when you need your hands free, then stow away neatly when the bag is being checked in or thrown into a vehicle. The compression straps can also be repositioned depending on whether you are cinching the load down or keeping them out of the way.
At 1002g, it strikes a good balance between durability, practicality and manageable weight.
