Our Verdict
Soft cushioning and reliable wet-weather grip make the NNormal Cadi GTX Shoe well suited to long days on mixed trails. The EVA midsole and 35mm heel stack provide plenty of underfoot protection, while the broader platform and moulded heel support should help keep things stable as the terrain becomes rougher.
Grip comes from a Vibram Megagrip outsole, which suits wet rock, woodland and general mountain paths particularly well. The Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane adds reliable protection in cold, wet conditions without making the upper feel excessively bulky
At 295g per UK 8 shoe, it remains reasonably light for a cushioned waterproof trail shoe. The 6mm drop and secure heel give it a relaxed, comfortable feel that should work well for both hiking and longer trail days.
