The Breeze is a lightweight softshell that is perfect for changeable conditions. Infinitely more breathable than a waterproof but still providing significant protection from the wind and rain, the softshell is a great piece of kit.

Our Verdict
OMM's Breeze Hood is a fitted softshell pull over top that is perfect for the changeable conditions you encounter in the UK, particularly on events like the OMM. The softshell material is lightweight, stretchy and highly breathable. Although it's not waterproof it still provides a lot of protection from the wind and also the rain. It dries really well so even when it does get wet it gets back to normal surprisingly quickly.
The lightweight and small packsize make it great for having as an extra layer on blustery days. The fit is athletic so it works for high paced activities like running and also fast and light adventures. I prefer using softshell jackets in most conditions as they keep the chill out, breathe amazingly well when you heat up and still dry quickly so they beat waterproofs in all but heavy rain in my experience.
