TRAIL MAGAZINE: New for 2022
New for 2022, MSR has updated the FreeLite series of tents to make them even lighter. At just 1.06kg, the 2-person FreeLite is now 270g lighter than the previous model, and includes added features for ease-of-use and durability, including no-curve door zippers, extra storage pockets and reinforced tension points (for when the weather inevitably turns). The 1-person version weighs just 890g.
VERDICT
An ultralight, spacious tent for two with a truly rectangular floor and near-vertical walls.
