Extreme Light Series
Highest Warmth to Weight Ratio
The Extreme Light series are Mountain Equipments premier range and have been re-engineered for 2022 with a new construction technique and the highest quality 900 Fill Power down.
Elsewhere only the lightest materials have been used such as the use of Plasma 7D shell fabric claimed to be the lightest downproof fabric in the world.
Helium Series
Exceptional Performance, Trekking Bag
The Helium series bags achieve high performance ratings using 800 Fill Power down and Mountain Equipment's improved construction techniques.
The shell fabric is highly breathable and has a 'light touch' DWR providing some water resistance making the Helium bags a great workhorse bag for a range of environments.
Womens Helium Series
Exceptional Performance, Trekking Bag
The women's bags differ from the men's in that they are fitted for a shorter person and have smaller footboxes reflecting the physical differences generally speaking between men and women. The smaller womens footbox will feel warmer than the mens because it has the same amount of down in smaller chambers.
Helium GT Series
Efficiently Sized, Supremely Comfortable
Larger bags for side sleepers, big people or those people who don't like a close fitting bag. An extension to the Helium series the GT bags use the same principles of construction and high quality materials.
Reassuringly ME add more down to the GT series because its bigger, so the Helium GT 400 has more down in it than the standard Helium 400. This enables the two bags to achive the same EN test rating.
Furthermore there isn't a massive weight penalty for the extra comfort, just 70g in the case of the '400' bags.
