Montane's Spirit Lite Gore-Tex Jacket
The Montane Spirit Lite Waterproof Jacket is designed for mountain walking and long-distance trekking alike. Made using a waterproof GORE-TEX Paclite® Plus shell fabric and fully taped seams, this waterproof jacket offers total protection from the elements in a lightweight and packable package. A fully adjustable hood and weather-resistant pockets ensure this waterproof jacket comes with plenty of practical features for use on the move. An essential waterproof jacket for those who love mountain activities where packability is paramount.
Our Verdict
Made from Gore-Tex Paclite material, this jacket has a smooth nice next-to-skin feel and a tough 75 denier Polyester outer. So, your jacket is very breathable and rugged but also packs down very small.
With a Hydrostatic Head of 28,000mm you can be confident this jacket will keep you dry no matter what outdoor exertion you’re undertaking. It's been coated with a long-lasting DWR which helps repel water and generally keeps the jacket functioning longer. The DWR will occasionally have to be reproved.
The hood has three points of adjustment, one point around the crown, and two at the side of the face. The peak of the hood has been stiffened to help keep water out of your eyes.
The large main zip has been backed with a wide storm flap and it is protected with an Aquaguard YKK zip, as are both of the side hand warming pockets, which are both mesh lined which helps ventilate heat and moisture.
The jacket's cuffs can be tightened with hook and loop fastenings and the hem of the coat cinches around the waist with a simple drawcord.

The competition starts on 5th April 2023 and ends on 5th May 2023. All entrants between these times/dates will be entered into the draw. A winner will be drawn on 8th May 2023, and the winner will be notified via email.
The winner will win their choice of Men’s or Women’s Spirit Lite Jacket (Subject to availability on our website). No substitute prizes can be offered.
Every correct entry submitted between the competition dates/times will have their email address entered into the draw. The draw will be made using a random number generator and will be completely fair, each email address will have the same chance to win as any other. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Simply add your name, answer, and email address inside. No dialogue will be entered about the administration of the competition/draw.
