A Family Owned Business
Ewa and Andrzej Pająk based their business on a passion for sport and resourcefulness. They are the first post-war generation of Polish private entrepreneurship. In the era of chronic scarcity, already in 1983, they decided to take matters into their own hands. Together, they led the company through four decades of turbulent times of transformation, crises, and prosperity, eventually introducing the next generation of the Pająk family into the business.
Mission and Values
From the beginning, PAJAK’s mission has been to create products that are lightweight and provide optimal thermal conductivity, thanks to which you can feel safe and comfortable pushing your limits.
PAJAK are from Beskids, where the company and manufacturing factory remains today.
From here we set off on expeditions to test products in the conditions of wild nature, which we consider our home and the common good of humanity. That is why, from the very beginning, our attitude, and actions inspire people to take care of the natural environment.
Perfection Through Experience
Our products are the result of 40 years of our own research and technological and material experiments. On their basis, we combine everything we consider to be the best, in particular: innovative fabrics, natural goose down and the precision of hand finishing. It is thanks to perfection based on experience that we give a product with unique parameters: light, with a high compression ratio and ensuring optimal thermal protection. What gives us additional satisfaction are clever functional and ergonomic solutions that make our products a reliable friend in the field.
Polish Goose Down
Polish down is recognised all over the world. What are the advantages of it? Specialists ensure that it is the way of breeding the birds. The best quality down is sourced from the White Koludzka Geese, especially those fed with oat, rich in valuable micro-elements. Geese feed mainly on grass, meaning they eat whatever they find in a pasture. It is the same as it used to be on small, ecological farms in the good old days.
Sustainable Development
We develop organically — naturally and at our own pace, but confidently and constantly. Balance is a value that also supports us in our personal lives, where we try to maintain the right proportions between work, family, and passions; virtual and real life.
